WoodCo reveal new appointment and Managing Director, Niall Lehane says

Woodco has been manufacturing biomass boilers for almost 20 years. In that time, they have supplied boilers all over Ireland, UK, Canada, US, New Zealand and many countries throughout Europe. They have been passionate about displacing fossil fuel with low carbon heating technologies in that time. They are 100% Irish owned, and manufacture boilers from 15kw (domestic) to 500kw (commercial) at their factory in Ireland.
A key ingredient to their success is the experience of the team they have assembled. Their people are undisputed specialists in this field. They design and manufacture biomass boilers, carbon neutral lifestyle products and provide a full Solar PV installation service.
Rod Hogan’s Role in the Team
Rod will be leading up the technical team at WoodCo, bringing his hands on experience from being a Project Manager for WoodCo for the past number of years. Hogan brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge which will help WoodCo lament its position as The Biomass Boiler Experts and Ireland’s Leading Commercial Solar PV Installer! Hogan will also head up the customer support team including after sales service and technical product support. Rod will lead from the front in the research and development of new products ideas and improvements. The entire team at WoodCo wish Rod the very best in his new role!

Our main customers are domestic households, businesses and farms looking for an alternative way to power their home or business while making a difference to their carbon footprint and make a saving on rising energy costs.

Whats next for WoodCo & Rod Hogan?
When WoodCo revealed the new appointment, WoodCo’s Founder and Commercial Director, Ger Crosse said ““Rod possesses great experience from the Agri- mechanical sector and from his 3 1/2 years as biomass project manager at WoodCo. I wish him well and he has the requisite skills to make a top-class Technical Director at WoodCo”.
Rod has immediately stepped into the role and has begun restructuring and refocusing the technical team.
Many of our projects we undertake involve both a commercial biomass boiler for heating and a Solar PV system for electricity. Rod will be heading up the Technical Research, Development and Support side of the business!
